DESCRIPTION OF THE RADIAL COMPRESSOR FOR BAKERY
Radial compressors are used to pump gases containing suspended particles and vapours. They are used in pneumatic transportation systems for bulk products, as well as in aeration and ventilation of the product.
Principle of operation:
When the impeller rotates, air is ejected to the perimeter of the working chamber. This creates a vacuum in the area of the impeller axis, and the air is sucked through the nozzle. Due to the high speed of rotation of the turbine, air enters the spiral chamber, where (due to the conversion of the part of kinetic energy) is compressed and ejected through the nozzle, thereby providing excess pressure on the exhaust.
