VHS pressure relief valves regulate pressure inside the silo in case of a sudden increase or decrease. DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE VHS
Metal cylindrical body of the valve is mounted on the roof of the silo and connected to the exhaust pipe with pipeline. An elastic diaphragm is installed inside the body, which reacts instantly to the pressure change inside. A set of counterweights keep the valve closed at normal pressure.
Principle of operation:
VHS valves react quickly to changes in pressure inside the silo. Through the interaction of pressures on different surfaces on both sides of the diaphragm installed inside the valve body, pressure balancing is achieved. At overpressure, air goes out to the external atmosphere. In case of pressure decrease, air from outside enters the silo.
