Magnetic separator is designed to capture ferromagnetic impurities in the product, being moved through the separator. Separator consists of a chamber, inside which a magnetic grid (magnetic catcher) is installed. Magnetic separator is part of a mechanical or pneumatic transport system.
Force of the magnet
In the magnetic catcher are applied high-energy rare-earth magnet alloy of Nd-Fe-B. Weight of the magnetic elements in each rod of the magnetic catcher is 0.2 kg. Magnetic induction on the surface of the rods (screen) – 150 MT.
Throughput of the separator
The capacity of the magnetic separator is calculated and manufactured individually, according to the required capacity of the transport system.

Service of magnetic separator
The magnetic catcher does not require intermediate maintenance. Used Nd-Fe-B alloy magnets have high temporal and temperature stability of the magnetic flux, which ensures the preservation of their magnetic properties throughout the life. Cleaning of magnetic separator rods is carried out at least once per shift.

Principle of operation:
Product particles passing through the rods of the magnetic grid are uniformly stratified, ferromagnetic inclusions are attracted to the built-in magnets and are excluded from the total product flow.
