PARAMETERS OF TRAY-FORMER MACHINE

Cardboard tray-former machine is designed for an automatic forming of cardboard trays from die cuts. It is used for group packaging of plastic cups with liquid and semi-liquid products into carton trays. Productivity is up to 1500 carton trays per hour. In basic version it can work with a single format of carton trays. Volume of the magazine for carton trays (die cuts) in 150 pieces. Tray-former machine works with hot-melt glue.

CARDBOARD TRAY FORMER MACHINE FOR GROUP PACKAGING OF PLASTIC CUPS

Carton tray-former machine picks up a die cut from tray magazine and forms it to carton tray. Volume of tray magazine is 150 trays. After that Pick & Place module transfers filled and closed plastic cups from inlet single cups conveyor to carton tray. This is an automatic group packaging machine with productivity up to 1500 trays per hour. Cardboard tray-former can work separately or be a part of automatic filling line for liquid products. The machine can work with flat carton trays or with cardboard trays with sides (folds).

Machine in automatic mode performs the following operations:

• separation and feeding of die cuts from storage magazine to tray-former machine;

• folding of sides (edges) of carton trays;

• application of hot melt glue;

• carton tray (die cuts) folding and glueing;

• transfer of ready carton tray from tray-former machine to outlet conveyor.

In a standard version tray-former machine is made of regular steel and can work with one format of cardboard trays. Other tray formats are available by request.
