Packaging of tea and coffee

Sachet bags are used in portion packaging of tea and coffee. Coffee without supplements are packaged in 2 grams bags, with additives (coffee 3 in 1) — by 15 — 20 grams. In doy-pack bags packaged freeze-dried coffee and leaf tea with net weight up to 500 grams. Coffee in this package is convenient for daily use. Sustainable packaging can close the product hermetically and retains its taste and properties. Most often, doy-pack bags for coffee and tea complement with fasteners zip-lock, which prolongs the safety of the product in the open package. Doy pack bags are an affordable and quality alternative to iron and glass jars for coffee.

In corrugated boxes usually packed tea and coffee, pre-packed in plastic or polypropylene bags. This package is not hermetic, so it can not independently provide all necessary conditions for product storage. Into carton box is often packed tea, due to the fact, that hard correct form of packaging creates an attractive appearance of the product.

In glass containers manufacturers pack freeze-dried coffee. From the point of view of consumers, it is the most convenient for coffee storage packaging. Because of the high cost of glass containers final cost of the freeze-dried coffee increases several times. Also in the glass jars are packaged expensive varieties of tea to emphasize the high quality of the product and preserve its taste properties.

Tin cans were popular a few years ago. Now their popularity has decreased significantly due to the appearance of containers with less cost and great barrier properties. However, some manufacturers still use tin cans for packaging tea and coffee portions from 50 to 500 grams.
