EQUIPMENT FOR PACKAGING OF SPICES
Ground spices are highly dusty products. For their dosing uses a screw doser, that prevents spraying in the process of dosing and packaging. With the help of a screw doser, the manufacturer can pack up to 50 doses per minute, depending on product properties and size of one dose.
With the help of a vertical packaging machine ground spices are packed in pillow bags, bags with a flat bottom (gasset), and 4 sides sealing bags. Advantages: packaging equipment does not take much space, has high performance and allows one machine to create different type of packaging.
Works in conjunction with the screw doser.
Horizontal wrappers are ideal for packaging of ground spices in packages of small volume. Packaging machine RT-UM-GS allows you to pack spices in a sachet bags and doy pack bags with zip lock or without it.
Into the bag, ground spices are packaged with a screw doser.
Using cardboard packaging machine, spices are packed into cardboard boxes of different sizes. For better preservation of the properties of spices, before packing them into a corrugated box, it has been packed into pillow bags packaging.
PACKAGING OF GROUND SPICES INTO SACHET BAGS
Advantages:
• attractive appearance: flat regular shape is excellent suitable for applying colorful images;
• high barrier properties: preserves the quality, taste and aroma of spices for the entire shelf life;
• small size: optimal for packaging of small doses of ground spices (from 1.5 grams);
Disadvantages:
• not suitable for packaging of large doses of ground spices.
PACKAGING OF GROUND SPICES INTO PILLOW BAGS
Simplicity: simple shape of the packafge minimizes the cost of production. Bag is optimal as pre-packaging;
Low cost: almost no impact on the final cost of the package;
High barrier properties: preserves the taste and aroma of spices during storage, prevents the ingress of moisture and air;
Wide capacity range: suitable for packing of ground spices from 5 grams to 2 kg.
Disadvantages: package is not convenient enough to use. High risk of spillage of ground spices. Appearance of the pillow bag is inferior to attractiveness to other types of packaging.
PACKAGING OF GROUND SPICES INTO CARTON BOX
Practicality: corrugated boxes are convenient for storage and use of ground spices;
Environmentally friendly: this package is made of environmentally friendly materials;
Disadvantages: low barrier properties. Ground spices are necessary to be pre- packed into a pillow bag or use for create cardboard boxes with a layer of film.
PACKAGING OF GROUND SPICES INTO PRE- MADE PLASTIC CONTAINERS
Practical: plastic packaging is convenient for long-term use of spices;
Capacity: allows to pack ground spices by net weight up to 1 kg.
Long-lasting barrier properties: protects the product from moisture during the period of use;
Disadvantages: containers has volume and it takes a lot of space during transportation and storage of ground spices.
