EQUIPMENT FOR PACKAGING OF SNACKS
Distinctive features of snacks production from other small-piece products are:
• long shelf life. Packaging for snacks has high barrier properties and makes the product immune to changes in external factors (humidity, temperature, etc.). Snacks storage: up to 12 months. For comparison: small-piece confectionery products are not stored more than 180 days.
• small portion. As a rule, snacks are packed in portions up to 200 grams (convenient for use for one feed). Other small-piece products (candies, cookies, dumplings, dumplings, etc.) is packed with a net weight of 200 to 1500 grams.
The most common materials for producing of snacks packaging — multilayer packaging film and packaging film with metallized layer. Such materials have increased barrier properties and keep products crispy throughout the shelf life. Packaging for snacks should be not only functional, but also convenient for the consumption of the product on the go, on road or on working place.

For packing of snacks into gasset bags are used vertical packaging machines, complemented with the option of forming side folds (sealing) and flat bottom. This option can be set to any vertical packaging machine of each class. Performance of the packaging equipment is not reduced with gusset option and corresponds to the technical characteristics of each model. For packing of snacks into doy pack bags is used horizontal packing machine RT-UM-GS. Performance of packaging automat — 32 packages per minute. To create a bag is used laminated paper, polypropylene film, heat sealable roll material. Doy-pack package emphasizes high quality and premium class of the product. As a rule, doy pack bags are used for packing of meat and fish snacks, nuts, candied fruits, dried fruits or cookies. EQUIPMENT FOR PACKAGING OF SNACKS INTO SACHET BAGS
Into three and four seams bags sachet snacks can be packed on horizontal packaging machine RT-UM-GS. In a minute it makes over 30 sachet bags. Sachet is suitable for packing of flat snacks: dried fish, squid, dried meat and etc. 3-seams sachet bag takes a minimum space, therefore, it is convenient for transportation and storage. Net weight of snacks, packed into doy-pack bags, is minimum: 18 — 100 grams.
