Screw doser is designed for dosing of bulk highly dusting food and non-food products with not high productivity. It is used for small and medium productions.
Type of products for dosing:

DESCRIPTION OF THE SCREW DOSER FOR PRODUCTION
Screw dosers are installed together with a packaging machines, but also can work autonomously. Its is used on enterprises of food industry, as well as other type of productions. Depends on the screw diameter, productivity is 30 — 50 doses per minute. Screw doser works with bulk and powder products.
• dosed product falls down to the loading hopper of a screw doser;
• screw under the action of the drive mixes the product;
• product moves into the packaging container.
Value of the measured dose is affected by size of screw, as well as the number of revolutions. Screw doser is designed for continuous operation with automatic feeding of the product into the loading hopper. Screw dosers have low productivity — up to 45 doses / min., and accuracy of dosing about 1%. The accuracy of dosing depends on the properties of a particular dosed product (particle size, water absorption, uniformity, etc.), weight of the dose, required productivity. The optimal value of the dosing accuracy for the certain product is determined empirically and is achieved by selecting of the geometric dimensions of the screw (pitch, length, etc.) and constructive execution of the mixer for a specified product.
