BRIQUETTES MAKING MACHINE

Briquettes making machine “Rubrik” produces bags of “briquette” type, being a part of the line for group packaging for grocery products. It is used in conjunction with a vertical packaging machines for packing of bulk and small-pieces products into three seams bags with flat bottom. Bags are formed from thermo sealed film in reel. Briquettes making machine is used in food industry for packaging of cereals, sugar, grounded coffee, flour, pasta and similar products.

DESCRIPTION OF THE BRIQUETTES MAKING MACHINE "RUBRIK"

Briquettes making machine is a part of an automatic packaging complex. It makes briquettes from three seams bags with flat bottom, filled with a product after vertical packaging machine. The machine is compact and convenient for storage and transportation.

pre-made on a vertical packaging machine bag with a flat bottom (“gusset”) falls into the receiving cell of the briquette making machine, at the same time the lower transverse seam of the bag is being folded. Bag in it’s upper horizontal seam has an air outlet (special horizontal jaws of the packaging machine). Next, the bag moves through chain conveyor and passes through a series of sequentially arranged stations;
servo drive moves the chain with the cells to strictly defined angles, thus maintaining high accuracy of positioning of cells relative to stations and at the same time providing high moving speed;
to adjust the height of the briquette, the position of the chain conveyor relative to the frame changes using a double mechanical jack by rotating the flywheel;
at the vibration station, consisting of three positions to increase productivity, produced shaking of the bag by using of electric eccentric vibration motors for the most dense package of the product inside the bag and static electricity is removed from the film at the top of the bag by neutralizers (to prevent dust and product particles from sticking to the inner surface of the film and thus damage the top seam);
at the gasset forming station, the remaining air is squeezed out of the bag, the upper side folds are formed and the bag enters the catcher of the next station;
at the welding station of the upper seam is performed capture and alignment of the top of the bag, welding of the upper transverse seam with simultaneous cutting off of the excess film and blowing of waste by a pneumatic nozzle into the receiving tray;
hot seam at the folding station is smoothed by a plate with a pneumatic cylinder to the top of the bag and then
at the welding station the top seam of the bag is welded to the top of the bag by a descending pneumatic actuator simultaneously at two positions with a teflon plate. Plate heating is performed by a tubular heating elements of continuous heating, temperature controlled by thermostats, built into the control system;
finished bag falls out of the cell down and by output slide is fed to the discharge conveyor.
